The language we use holds common meanings, as set out by the Conversation API Terms and Conditions unless we specify otherwise here.
i. “Business Initiated Conversation” refers to a WhatsApp conversation that a business starts by sending an Electronic Message to an End User outside the 24-hour customer service window. To initiate such a conversation, a message template is necessary. If any changes are made to this definition by a Third-Party Provider, like Meta, they apply to you immediately.
ii. “Conversation Channels” encompass communication platforms offered within the Unifonic Conversation API Service. These include WhatsApp, Meta, and X.
iii. “Third Party Provider Terms and Conditions” indicate terms, conditions, and policies subject to Unifonic at the Service Specific Terms' acceptance or subsequently within the Term. This involves providers of Conversation Channels like Meta. Examples include:
iv. WhatsApp Business Solution Terms (https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/business-solution-terms) incorporating WhatsApp Business Terms of Service (https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/business-terms/)
v. X Terms of Service (https://twitter.com/en/tos#us) and X Developer Terms and Conditions (https://developer.twitter.com/en/developer-terms/agreement-and-policy).
vi. Meta Policy and Usage Guidelines (https://developers.facebook.com/docs/messenger-platform/policy/).
vii. “Conversation API Service(s)” signifies services detailed in clause 4 and further explained in the applicable Order Form.
viii. “Conversation API Terms and Conditions” or “Service Specific Terms” point to these terms, which are tailored to Unifonic’s Conversation API Service.
ix. “Support Services” carry the meaning as specified in clause 5.2 within these Service Specific Terms.
x. “User Initiated Conversation” designates a WhatsApp conversation launched in response to an End User Electronic Message. Any reply by a business to an End User within the 24-hour service window constitutes a user-initiated conversation. During this window, businesses can send free-form messages. If Meta alters this definition, it applies to you immediately.
xi. “SPAM Messages” encompass electronic messages sent without granting users the ability to unsubscribe. This covers various forms of electronic communication such as emails, SMS, multimedia messages (MMS), Flash SMS, and fax messages. However, this definition excludes warning, educational, and personal messages.
