Abdullah Khayat, our Head of Sales for the Public Sector, loves sales so much, he compares it to football, saying it’s a team sport in which everyone wins when you score. Read on to learn what it's like to work in tech sales.

What does a day in the life of a Sales professional at Unifonic look like?

A typical morning starts with an early wake-up followed by freshly brewed coffee☕ while catching up on the latest news. Our team huddles for a morning kick-off meeting to discuss daily activities and focuses. After lunch with colleagues, I update my prospect list and focus on my to-do list for the following day. I always finish the day with a wrap-up with my boss to brief him on the team's activities and progress on company goals.

What do you enjoy the most about working in Sales?

I have worked in sales for seven years and have gained a lot of experience and built some great relationships. My job offers endless opportunities to improve my soft skills by interacting with people from different industries and countries. Also, helping clients solve their challenges makes me proud to be part of their success

What motivates you?

The motivation for me, and I think everyone at Unifonic is to contribute to the company's objectives. It also helps that our efforts are constantly appreciated and rewarded.

How do you keep a smile on your face during a hard day?

Calling my family and my little daughter 😍 can put a huge smile on my face and never fails to lift my mood. However, sales has also significantly increased my emotional intelligence!
